wishing wishes wasn’t just something to do

and only after 2 weeks we caught ourselves saying I love yous

looking forward to the day that we say “I do”

maybe it was too fast?

but I was wishing things would last

waiting for the clock to turn 11:11 or looking up at the sky

hoping a star would shoot by

I made those wishes

we made those wishes

days,weeks,months, a year soon pass

fully aware that things aren’t always built to last

holding on to false hopes from wishes

trying to understand what we have is

not what I thought from the very start

New Bestie kept me company today. He took me to see this. Told me to close my eyes. haha Then drove me to the top of the hill. It was so beautiful.

a cold rush shot through my body

like a drug

though this time its for certain

the coldness is piercing through my veins

burning my skin

causing me to shake

uncontrollably

how is it possible for you to feel nothing

when I feel this unavoidable chill and immense pressure

against my chest

the same chest you once laid your head on as we kept each other warm in bed

(I’ll miss those cold mornings in bed, snuggling close to keep warm for hours)

now I lie in bed, alone, cold.

no amount of clothing, blankets, heat can give me the warmth to mask the cold that I am feeling.

What is this feeling

Where it once was filled with warmth from you is now ice cold and abandoned

When I’m home alone I like to ~~play Top Chef~~ try food experiments with whatever food I have in the house.

Found me some:

-Yellow curry powder

- Chicken boobs.

- Coconut juice box

- Fat free milk

- Tomatoes

- Green onions

- Onions

- Salt and Pepper

- Frozen Roti Paratha

- Fancy clean white square serving plate for the picture. :P
